Margaret & Pawel

Margaret, a Support Worker and Pawel, a Truck Driver in their late thirties and early fifties respectively, purchased a one-bedroom apartment for £405,500 in Fairview’s Park Quarter Development in Barnet. 

Margaret, a Support Worker in her mid-thirties and Pawel, a Truck Driver in his early fifties purchased a one-bedroom apartment at Fairview New Homes Park Quarter development in Barnet in February 2025  after searching for their perfect home for three years. 

The couple could afford a two-bedroom home, but instead decided to purchase a one-bedroom so that they could have more disposable income to spend on things they enjoyed, such as exploring new destinations on holidays and eating out.

Previously, Margaret was living at home in Bognor Regis with her family while her fiancée, Pawel, was renting in London. 

New to Barnet, the pair discovered Park Quarter on Instagram and, after going for a viewing quickly after, came to love the area, especially its great transport links and park next door, complete with gym and swimming pool, “Having a gym so nearby makes it easier to be in a consistent routine, I absolutely love swimming so it’s great to have a pool less than a five minute walk away!”

They were drawn to a new home in particular as it was ready to move in and well suited to modern living, “Our new apartment offers a modern design and allowed for a seamless move as it didn’t require any building work. The layout also suits us perfectly, we have an open plan living area which is great for hosting and a fitted bathroom, kitchen and washing machine which we love being brand new to us.”
