A professional chef showed how to make a delicious meal for Valentine’s Day during a cookery demonstration in Buntingford.
Jethro Carr, founder of the Kitchen Academy cookery school, showed how to make three tasty courses during the cookery event, which took place in the kitchen of one of the showhomes at The Village, a new homes development off London Road.
Jethro cooked an Italian focaccia bread, pan-roasted spiced duck breast and a Macedonian triple chocolate mousse, talking visitors through the recipes as he prepared them.
Jethro said: “It was great to see all of the visitors who dropped by during my cookery demonstration at The Village.
“Cooking in the showhome kitchen gave me the chance to show them how restaurant-quality food can be made in a domestic kitchen.
“I hope visitors on the day picked up some useful tips to help them make their own romantic meal for Valentine’s Day.”
Jim Holliday, Sales and Marketing Director for Fairview New Homes – the company building homes at The Village – said: “I’d like to thank Jethro for working his culinary magic in our showhome kitchen in Buntingford.
“We like to organise regular events like this to entertain our visitors while they are house-hunting, and our visitors were impressed by Jethro’s excellent three-course meal.”
