A team of staff from Enfield-based Fairview New Homes swapped the office for the astroturf for the day to take part in a fundraising football tournament.
The team of eight staff, who are all based at the housebuilder’s head office in Lancaster Road, took part in the 2017 Surveyors Cup on Friday 30th June.
The competition – organised and sponsored by demolition and enabling specialists, the Downwell Group – saw 24 teams from companies within the construction industry compete for the honours in a 5-a-side tournament held in Hainault.
Teams competed from companies across the construction industry, including surveyors, structural engineers, architects and facilities managers.
Proceeds raised from the competition will go to the Jonjo Heuerman Appeal, the charity set up by 14-year-old fundraiser Jonjo to raise money for Cancer Research UK and the Bobby Moore Fund.
Jeremy Gee, Main Board Director for Fairview, said: “The Surveyors Cup was an enjoyable day for all of the Fairview team to be involved with.
“Our players swapped their desks for the pitch and put their boots on to have some fun playing against other teams from the construction industry.
“We would like to thank the organisers for making the day so enjoyable to be a part of.”
