Be prepared

As with most things in life, preparation is key to successfully dealing with stressful tasks.

If you face a busy day in the office, make sure you've prepared everything you need to the night before - iron your outfit and pack your bag.

Small preparations like this will leave you ready to tackle the bigger matters you encounter during your busy day with no distractions.

Take a break

When things begin to overwhelm you, take yourself out of the situation and give yourself room to breathe.

A short walk or pausing to make a cup of tea can help to reset the mind - leaving you in a better frame of mind to focus on the task in hand.

 

Make a to-do list

Instead of worrying about the 99 problems you may have, focus on just one at a time by making a list.

Ticking off each task one at a time will help you to visualise your path to completing that day's workload.

Eat smart

Choose foods which will fuel you, leaving you ready to power on through your day.

Avoiding refined foods and not skipping meals will help you to face whatever the day has to bring.
