March is set to be a busy month, with Mother's Day, St. Patrick's Day and Good Friday coming up and the clocks springing forward by 1 hour on Sunday 25th.
Here, we take a look at some of the other highlights to be checked out this March in London.
Natural History Museum
Enjoy 2 nights of movies at the museum on Friday 2nd and Saturday 3rd March.
Fans of Star Trek and Star Wars can treat themselves to an evening viewing of some of their favourite films in one of London's coolest settings.
The Big Half
Held for the first time on Sunday 4th March, join in the fun of The Big Half, where around 20,000 participants will honour cultural diversity in London across a half-marathon distance.
As well as a half marathon taking place between Tower Bridge and Greenwich, events such as the Big Festival will be held in Greenwich Park to celebrate London's diverse music, culture and food.
Shoreditch Dog House
A special Shoreditch Dog House pop-up is being held throughout March at The Canvas, off Brick Lane. The doggy day care organisation is welcoming visitors to enjoy a cuddling session with one of its neighbourhood pooches.
Head of the river race
Continuing a tradition first started in 1926, the annual rowing race from Mortlake to Putney Bridge (the opposite route to the Oxford and Cambridge boats) sees hundreds of crews from across the world take part in London on Sunday 11th March.
The Moroccan Medina
Inspired by the Majorelle Gardens in Marrakech, The Queen of Hoxton in Shoreditch plays host to a rooftop medina each day from 4pm including giant cacti, fairy lights, lanterns and fire pits for just one more month, ending 31st March.
