This week is National Spa Week, so why not treat yourself to a pampering? Here are 5 of the best affordable spas in London.

Porchester Spa

Located in Queensway, Porchester Spa offers an extensive range of massages, beauty and male grooming treatments, inspired by Turkish and Moroccan Hammam Bathhouse traditions.

Dating back to 1929, the building retains its original green and white tiles, high ceilings and other traditional features, providing a truly authentic spa experience.

Massages start from £29, facials from £32 and wraps from £58.

Casa Spa

Established more than 11 years ago, Casa Spa on Edgware Road is a family-run business specialising in authentic Hammam, massages and facial treatments.

Facials and massages both start from £35, while a range of couples packages, priced from £165 for 2 hours, are also available.

The venue has recently opened its Arabian Hammam Café, which serves tea, coffee and shisha.

Agua Bathhouse & Spa

Set within the Mondrian London hotel at Sea Containers on London’s Southbank, Agua has 6 private rooms, a nail and grooming lounge, steam rooms and a spa lounge.

It offers a diverse range of fully curated signature treatments carefully handpicked by a team of experts.

Massages are available from £20, while facials start at £40.

Cowshed Primrose Hill

Cowshed now has 7 shops and spas dotted across the capital, but it all began here in Primrose Hill when the first spa opened in the old cowshed at Babington House in 1998.

The venue offers a range of treatments using Cowshed’s award-winning products, made from organic and wildcrafted plant extracts and essential oils, and also has its own café.

Body massages start from £65 and facials from £48.

Liz Earle

Located just off Chelsea’s Kings Road, Liz Earle’s London store is a haven of peace and tranquillity in the heart of the capital.

Boasting 6 treatment rooms, the venue offers a selection of techniques, from hands-on massage sequences to start-of-the-art, non-invasive technologies.

Massages and facials both start at £45.
