Greenwich Market will open daily from December 1st until Christmas Eve, with late opening to 8pm on Wednedsay 7th December.
Father Christmas and his elf will meet youngsters in his grotto on December 17th, 18th, 21st, 22nd and 23rd.
St Albans, Hertfordshire
The city of St Albans has hosted a regular market for 1,000 years and now hosts a Christmas market with up to 60 stalls, set in traditional wooden chalets.
The market stalls are located in and around the picturesque Vintry Garden, a walled garden next to the stunning 11th-century St Albans Cathedral.
The Christmas market will run daily until Sunday 18th December, and will include Father Christmas in his grotto from Tuesday to Sunday.
Clissold Park, Stoke Newington
Following a successful launch last year, the Clissold Park Christmas Market returns to Stoke Newington in the three days before Christmas week, from Friday 16th December to Sunday 18th December.
Stalls will sell everything from coffee, bread, desserts and street food to jewellery, hats and gloves.
Tickets for Santa’s grotto can be purchased in advance, and visitors can find out more on the market’s Facebook page.
Leicester Square, Central London
Leicester Square will be transformed into a winter wonderland throughout the festive season.
There will be a Christmas Market, with stalls housed within traditional wooden huts - visitors will be able to choose from hand-crafted gifts, delicious food and festive decorations.
Santa will also be in his grotto until Christmas Eve.
If you fancy making a day of it, book tickets to see Oliver-award winning theatre group La Soiree - performances will take place in a velvet-draped Belgian spiegeltent which will be pitched in the middle of Leicester Square.
