Fairview trainee picks up excellence award
A trainee assistant site manager with Fairview New Homes has been awarded a prize for excellence by his university.
Sam Hall, 21, who is based at Fairview’s Lexicon development in Gayton Road, Harrow-on-the-Hill, is studying for a degree in Building Management at Anglia Ruskin University’s Chelmsford campus alongside his work commitments.
He picked up the award for best personal performance among first year students on his course during a graduation ceremony at the Central Baptist Church in Chelmsford.
Sam, whose ambition is to become a site manager, began his career at Fairview’s head office in Enfield before moving out onto site.
He said: “Receiving this award was a very proud moment for me personally, and it means a lot to be recognised for my efforts. I’ve had fantastic support from my tutors at university and my colleagues at Fairview, and I’m learning so much every day.
“I’m really enjoying the course and my role on site, and I’m looking forward to progressing my career with the company.”
Stephen Brown, Area Construction Manager for Fairview, said: “We have all been hugely impressed by Sam’s maturity and work ethic since he joined the company, and we are delighted he has been recognised with this award.
“It is always gratifying to see talented trainees flourishing in their roles, and we wish Sam the very best as he continues to learn and grow his career with us.”
