Final residents set to move in at Royston development
The final residents are set to move into their homes at a development in Royston. Fairview New Homes is putting the finishing touches to its Affinity development, which has been built on two pieces of land off Burns Road.
The development comprises 124 homes – 14 of which have been made available as affordable housing – and the last of the 110 homes for sale have now been reserved. Jim Holliday, Sales and Marketing Director for Fairview, said: “We began construction work at Affinity in early 2015 and now, two years on, these two pieces of land have been turned into an attractive new community which we are very proud of. “Construction work will be completed in the coming weeks, after which our team will move down the A10 to press on with work at The Village, our development in Buntingford.
“We look forward to welcoming our last occupants to their homes at Affinity, and we hope that all of our residents enjoy many happy years in their new homes there.” As part of the planning agreement for Affinity, Fairview is making contributions totalling £500,000 to fund leisure facilities, nursery education, sustainable transport, open spaces and libraries in the area.
