Visitors to a new development in Harrow-on-the-Hill can find out how they could use London Help to Buy to snap up a new home at an event taking place this weekend.

Fairview New Homes is hosting a dedicated London Help to Buy weekend at Lexicon, its development in Gayton Road, on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th June.

Fairview is building a collection of studio, 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments at Lexicon, which is a 5-minute walk away from Harrow-on-the-Hill station.

Homes at Lexicon will include open-plan layouts and kitchens with contemporary white gloss units and fully integrated appliances. Each apartment will include its own private terrace or balcony, and a total of 230 homes will be released for sale.

The development is perfectly positioned for visiting the shops and restaurants of Harrow-on-the-Hill, while residents in some of Lexicon’s apartment buildings will enjoy views across Harrow-on-the-Hill and towards Wembley Stadium.

Apartments at Lexicon are priced from £375,000 and all of the homes within the current release are available to purchase using London Help to Buy. Buyers can make use of the government-backed scheme to purchase a new home with a 5% deposit and a 55% mortgage.

The remaining 40% of the purchase price is provided as an equity loan which is interest-free for the first 5 years.

London Help to Buy can be used in the purchase of a new-build home priced up to £600,000 in the capital – meaning that homes of all sizes at Lexicon can currently be purchased using the scheme.

Jeremy Gee, Main Board Director for Fairview, said: “We’re looking forward to welcoming visitors to Lexicon this weekend so they can find out more about the advantages of London Help to Buy.

“The scheme can be used to purchase a 1, 2 or 3-bedroom home within our current release of apartments. Our 1-bedroom homes are perfect for first-time buyers and are priced from £375,000, while our 3-bedroom apartments would suit growing families and are priced from £524,000.

“I’d encourage home-hunters to visit us this weekend to find out how they can make their move to Lexicon with London Help to Buy.”

Lexicon is a short walk away from Harrow-on-the-Hill station, where Metropolitan line services run to Baker Street in 19 minutes and to Kings Cross St Pancras in 25 minutes.
