A new development of apartments in Harrow-on-the-Hill is now open to visitors.
The doors are now open daily at Lexicon, a development of 230 apartments for sale in Gayton Road, a 5-minute walk away from Harrow-on-the-Hill station.
Lexicon is being built by Fairview New Homes on land which was previously home to buildings including a library.
Buyers will be able to choose from a selection of studio, 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments.
Homes are currently available to buy within Lexicon’s Austen House and Wallace House buildings, priced from £375,000.
Jeremy Gee, Main Board Director for Fairview, said: “As one of the original Metroland destinations, Harrow-on-the-Hill attracted homebuyers in the early 20th century thanks to its excellent rail connections to central London.
“And 100 years later, the area is as popular as ever with commuters who are looking for a well-located home in an attractive, suburban setting.
“Harrow-on-the-Hill has its own bustling town centre, while the heart of central London can be reached within half an hour by tube.
“We are now looking forward to welcoming visitors to our Marketing Suite and show apartment at Lexicon, where our first buyers are set to move into their homes in August.”
The London Help to Buy scheme, which enables buyers to purchase a new home priced up to £600,000 with a 5% deposit and 55% mortgage, is available at Lexicon.
The remaining 40% of the purchase price is provided as an equity loan which is interest-free for the first 5 years.
Homes at Lexicon will include open-plan layouts and kitchens with contemporary white gloss units and integrated appliances. Each apartment will include its own private terrace or balcony.
Lexicon is a 5-minute walk away from Harrow-on-the-Hill station, where Metropolitan line services run to Baker Street in 19 minutes and to Kings Cross St Pancras in 25 minutes.
Kenton station is a 15-minute walk away from Lexicon for access to the Bakerloo line and Overground services.
Fairview’s new Marketing Suite and show apartment at Lexicon are open daily from 10am to 5pm.
